Am I worried about Artificial Intelligence replacing my job?
Absolutely not.
The ‘value’ of art isn’t in the product, but the story behind it. It’s about the journey both you and I had to take to get where we are now. A computer will never have a story, or be able to create one from nothing. It might be able to forge something beautiful, but will never have the missing piece — human connection.
I actually used ChatGPT to produce content during the building process on this site. It helped to create a framework that I could then modify as it doesn’t know my personal details or how to target Search Engine Optimization based on my business needs.
How long have I been doing this?
Currently, around 7 years! Before websites, I worked in oil & gas as a Process/Chemical Engineering Technologist.
If I could do any job, what would it be?
I love building websites — it’s an obsession that I don’t foresee changing. Doing it as a business allows me to make a living, but really I’m just focused on learning and making art to the best of my abilities.
